Chick-fil-A"Eat Mor Chikin!"
Have you seen the funny Chick-fil-A cows holding the sign, “Eat Mor Chikin”? It’s all part of their clever campaign to showcase what they do best: serve great chicken. If you’ve ever been to a Chick-fil-A, you’re familiar with this refreshingly delicious and well-run fast food restaurant. We love Chick-fil-a for their perfected chicken sandwich, delicious waffle fries, educational toys for kids and “closed on Sunday” practice. Did I just say, “Closed on Sunday?” Because the founder Truett Cathy has such a strong faith in God and belief in the family, he’s always closed his restaurants on Sundays so employees could choose to worship at church if they wanted to. Of course, you would think this decision would be a death-knell for a fast food restaurant when weekends are the busiest times. But Chick-fil-A has beat conventional wisdom for more than 55 years, growing to become one of the largest – and most beloved - privately owned restaurant chains in the United States.
Did I mention the restaurant also invests in college scholarships for team members, foster homes and other community services? Talk about lots of great reasons to eat their chicken!
Oh yeah, and the food’s great too! Their mission statement is to ”Be America’s Best Quick-Service Restaurant.” And they are doing a great job in accomplishing just that!
A few favorites to order: Chicken Sandwich - A boneless breast of chicken, hand-breaded, pressure cooked in peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickles. Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich - A boneless breast of chicken, marinated in special seasonings, grilled and served on a toasted wheat bun with dill pickles, lettuce and tomato. Served with a packet of Honey Roasted BBQ Sauce. Chick-n-Strips Salad - Chick-n-Strips served on a fresh blend of Romaine and Iceberg lettuce, with shredded red cabbage and carrots, grape tomatoes, broccoli florets, and Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses. Served with butter garlic croutons, honey roasted sunflower kernels and your choice of dressing. Made fresh daily. Waffle Potato Fries - These yummy waffle-shaped potatoes with the skin are cooked until crispy outside and tender inside. Cooked in 100% refined peanut oil. We like to dip them in the Polynesian sauce!

Kids Meal - Chicken nuggets, 4 or 6 count, that are bite sized pieces of tender all breast meat chicken, seasoned, hand-breaded and pressure-cooked in peanut oil. Comes with waffle potato fries or fruit cup, and drink choice of milk, chocolate milk, apple juice, freshly squeezed lemonade, or soda, and a great educational toy.
