Oma’s Pumpkin Patch at Van Ommering Dairy FarmYou’ll find a friendly staff to greet you as you visit the dairy’s pumpkin patch, hayride, hay maze, and petting zoo. Kids older than 1 year are $6. One free adult for every paying child. Additional adults cost $3. The fee includes: free jack pumpkin, bottle of water, cottonseed mountain for kids to climb and dig, playground, sand pile with trucks and tractors, covered hay rides around the farm, hay bale maze, milk bottle bowling and petting zoo. Hay rides run every half hour and the last hay ride leaves at 6:30 pm. Oma’s Pumpkin Patch is open from Tuesday, Sept 29 to Saturday, October 31, 2009. Open Tuesday to Saturday from 10-7 pm. Pumpkin Station Farm Tour This tour includes pumpkin, orientation and coloring book, tractor pulled hay wagon ride, corn maze, bottled water, farm animals and bales of straw. $7 for children, adults are free.

Victoria’s Gardens in Lakeside and Alpine Visit a working farm and pick your own pumpkin starting at $3 and up. Free activities include a straw playground, flower maze and corn maze. You can buy tickets for giant slides ($3), petting zoo ($3), train rides ($3), pony rides ($4), hay rides ($2), and the fun jump ($2). Or you can pay $15 for all the rides. American Barnyard Company in Escondido Here you’ll find a pumpkin patch, straw or hay bale maze, pre-picked produce, snacks and refreshment stand, restrooms, picnic area, pony rides, and petting zoo. 2115 Miller Ave. Open Tuesday to Friday from 12-6 pm. Saturday and Sunday from 10-6 pm. Closed on Mondays.
Bates Nut Farm Bates Nut Farm is open year round. October brings pumpkins, the amazing straw maze ($2), tractor-pulled hay rides ($2), face painting, pony rides, and a petting zoo plus a gift shop, snacks and refreshment stand and picnic area. The Pumpkin Patch opens on Saturday, September 26, 2009 and continues through Halloween Day on October 31. The hours are 9-5 pm everyday.
