When your family comes to Sea World summer nights, they will remember Shamu Rocks, fireworks, dolphins and pyrotechnics and much more!
Watch exciting highlights from Shamu Rocks, including video of Shamu breakdancing!
Shamu Rocks at Shamu Stadium - There's something utterly magical about seeing Shamu at night. The stadium rocks as you combine the music of a rock-n-roll concert with the thrill of amazing feats from Shamu and friends. The imagery and animation used on the multimedia screens is totally captivating and original. The biggest rock star of course is Shamu. This is Sea World's best night show yet!
Showtimes are always changing, so check your park map for times. And get ready to see more strollers parked along the side of the walkway than you have ever seen in your whole life! If you have a stroller to park, make sure you have a good landmark to find it again.
Shamu's SkySplash - Following Shamu Rocks, you can just sit tight for this summertime nightly display of fireworks over Sea World. You can see the fireworks display and hear the choreographed music from anywhere in the park. Usually the sky show begins at 9:50 p.m. What a fun way to end your day at Sea World!
Ignight at Dolphin Stadium - The pyrotechnics make this show really stand out. The dolphins are fantastic as usual and the trainers are, well, very peppy in this show, but it all works to ignite the night!
Be prepared to arrive at the show 30 minutes ahead of time to get a seat.
Here are video highlights from Dolphin Stadium:
Sea Lions Tonite - What a pleasant surprise this was. Sea Lions Tonite is the absolute funniest show in the park! Sea lions Clyde and Seamore, with the capable help of their trainers, spoof all the other shows in the park as well as popular TV shows. You must see this show!
Here are Clyde and Seamore imitating the Shamu show in this video from the show - very funny!
Cirque de la Mer - Amazing extreme acrobats are the stars of this Cirque de Soleil type show. This summertime show combines acrobatics, music and special effects. This show is usually earlier in the evening at 6:00 p.m.
Here are some video highlights from Cirque de la Mer:
During the Sea World summer nights, the park is open until 9:00 p.m. and on some evenings until 11:00 p.m. Whenever it closes, there is a MASS EXODUS out of the park. If you can, just wait and let the foot traffic crawl past you while you shop, sit or let your kids crash somewhere.
You'll be greeted by the same long line in the parking lot, so if you know you're going to stay until closing, park near the exit to avoid waiting 30 minutes just to get out of the parking lot!
